Jeffrey B. Giesler, 70, of Powell, Ohio, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at his residence.

He was born April 19, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Dr. Robert P. and Betty Jane Brewer Giesler.  On September 2, 1978, he married the former Lisa L. Zurmehly who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Benjamin Giesler, of Powell; twin daughters, Natalie (Brad) Bidinger, of Medina, OH and Olivia (Eduardo Alicea) Giesler, of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Bree and Glenn Giesler, Adriana Giesler, and Memphis, Rhett and Raiden Bidinger; a sister, Anne Cunningham, of Naples, FL; a niece, Bailey (Jason) Wyant, of Columbus; and his dog, Heidi.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Robert P. Giesler Jr. and nephew, Chad Cunningham.

Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School and had gone on to receive a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Miami, Florida.  He was a member of Linworth United Methodist Church.  Jeff swam competitively in his youth and college. He also coached swimming at various times. Jeff enjoyed many outdoor activities including swimming, cycling, and boating. Most of all, Jeff loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  We love you, Papa!

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor James W. Grove officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
