Our mom graduated to heaven Sunday evening. She was being treated for other issues when we found out this past Wednesday she had cancer; she was gone by Sunday. We’re still processing all of this. Orange was her favorite color and she loved owls, gnomes and rainbows. She enjoyed listening to good old country preaching, and watching The Chosen. Thank you Joey for always hugging her anyway. It was hilarious when you took her phone and posted on her Facebook that she loves football and hugs. (The exact opposite is true) That made our day…of course we showed her the Facebook post and she laughed. Mom hated to see people hungry or do without. Even though she didn’t have much, mom would always stop so she could give a homeless person money. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Lawanna Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
