Jerrod L. Arthur, 44, of Richmond Dale, passed at 12:37 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following a brief illness.

He was born February 2, 1979, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Wayne Satterfield and Belinda Arthur.  On April 21, 2018, he married the former Abigail White who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Belinda (Bill Perkins) Pratt, of Wellston, OH; father and step mother, Wayne and Shelly Satterfield, of Middleport, OH; children, Xavier Arthur, Macston Arthur, Sawyer Arthur and Tylar Arthur, all at home; grandparents, Charlotte Patrick, of Wellston and Jim and Midge Satterfield, of Middleport, OH; brothers, Joel (Katie Kelley) Collins, of Wellston, OH, Joe (Lacy) Satterfield, of Middleport, OH and Sean Collins, of Gulf Shores, AL; a sister, Maggie (Seth) Tucker, of Pomeroy, OH; several nieces and nephews; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Rita White.  He was predeceased by his step father, Mike Pratt; grandmother, Yolan Satterfield; grandfather, Ronald Johnny Arthur; and an uncle, Joe Satterfield.

Jerrod worked out of the LIUNA Local 83 Union in Portsmouth, Ohio.  He was a 1998 graduate of Wellston High School.  Jerrod was a member of the Horse Creek Motorcycle Club where he was known as "Slipknot".

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Richmond Dale Church of God with Pastor John Evans Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church in Richmond Dale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
