Jessie Woods, 67, of Chillicothe, passed 5:00 am Monday, January 22, 2024 at her residence.

She was born November 23, 1955 in Jackson, Ohio to the late John J. and Annie (Mitchum) Chandler.

Surviving are children, Johnny Woods, of Washington Court House, Geraldine Woods, of Washington Court House, P.J. Woods,  of Greenfield and Stella (Mike) Howard, of Chillicothe; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews; and companion, Billy Hawk.  She was predeceased by a sister.

Jessie was a cook at Heartland Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
