John G. Brown, 69, of Chillicothe, passed at 4:32 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 in CareCore at Westmoreland following a brief illness.

He was born August 14, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late D. Paul and Virginia E. "Pat" Monce Brown.

Surviving are brothers, Joe (Teresa) Brown and Scott (Tonya) Brown; a sister-in-law, Hanna Brown, all of Chillicothe; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great great nephew; and many friends.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Amy Missaghi; a brother, Tom Brown; and a nephew, Joey Brown.

In 1998, John retired from the former Budd Company.

A private graveside memorial service, with Pastor Dan Bennett officiating, will be held in Grandview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society 2308A Lick Run Road Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
