John Paul Miller, 86, of Chillicothe passed 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 19, 1940 in Allegheny, PA to the late Paul and Ruth Cox Miller. On November 21, 1990 he married Susan Newberry who survives.

Also surviving are children, John (Ryley) Miller, Jr., of Alabama, Candace (Tyler White) Newberry, of Philly and Amber (William) Brown, of Milford, OH and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by grandson, Travon Brown. John had a special place in his heart for Addie and Tiah Degarmo.

John Paul was a retired tradesman who did roofing and siding.

There will be services at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
