Johnny R. Taylor, 69, of Chillicothe, passed 1:03 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

He was born September 27, 1954, in Alva, KY to the late Hobert R. and Maxine M. Osborne Taylor.

Surviving are daughters, Amanda Taylor, of Coshocton, OH and Lisa (Troy) Lasseter, of Manchester, TN; grandchildren, Sativa Duling, Tynslee Taylor, Alisha Demumbreum, Andrew Tinnel and Cortney Thompson; sisters, Dorothy (James) Aston, of Conesville, OH and Regina (Dean) Ramsey, of Newville, PA; brothers, Terry Taylor and Joseph Taylor, both of Coshocton, OH; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Ginny Taylor and a brother, Austin Taylor.

Johnny was a Coal Miner and worked as a Foreman for the Peabody Coal Company.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe, OH.
