Joyce E. Queen, 77, of Gahanna, passed 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Mt. Carmel East, Columbus following a short illness while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 18, 1944, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late George Q. and Katherine J. Peters Queen.

Surviving are a sister, Gloria (Lowell) Beverly, of Gahanna; a niece, Jennifer Beverly, of Gahanna; a nephew, John (Julie) Beverly, of Grove City and his children, Jordan and Johnny.

Joyce retired from Lazarus and Chase Bank.  She was avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.  Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends.  She will be dearly missed by all of them.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe with her cousin, Pastor Edwin Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
