Julie A. Conkel, 57, of Chillicothe passed 1:55 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born January 31, 1969, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Earnest and Patricia Gray Graves.

Surviving are sons, Zachariah (Angel Butterbaugh) Edgington, of Bainbridge and Teejaye Conkel, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Madelyn, Noah and Macie; brothers, Steven Graves and David Graves; nieces, Crystal (Justin, deceased) McDonald and Erica (Josh) Mulinix; and 3 great nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Elijah Edgington and brother, Ronnie Graves.

Julie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a quiet private life. Julie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions may be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help with expenses.
