Karen Kay Fitzpatrick, 59, of Chillicothe, passed 2:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born September 16, 1964, in Franklin County, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Lola Montgomery Fitzpatrick.

Surviving are a sister, Linda (Robert Jr.) Stratton, of Chillicothe; brothers, Herbert (Miranda) Fitzpatrick II, of Waverly and Jeffrey (Mary) Fitzpatrick, of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews, Deana (Lawrence) McCormick, of Chillicothe, Robin (Eric) Worcester, of Jackson, Taylor (fiance, Jacob Hicks) Blakeman, of Chillicothe, Zandria Fitzpatrick, of Waverly, Alekzander Fitzpatrick, of Waverly, Kiana (Patrick) Tracey, of Bowling Green, OH and Kayla (Gavin) Osborne, of Chillicothe; and great nephews, William, Christopher, Johnathan and Owen.  She was predeceased by her best friend, Helen Smith.

Karen always had a smile on her face.  She was a very loving sister and gave unconditional love to anyone who needed it.  Karen never had biological children, but she considered her nieces, nephews and many dogs that she had over the years as such.

A graveside service will be held 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Caldwell Cemetery with Pastor Chris Brown officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
