Kathleen Teresa O'Neill Foster, 97, of Chillicothe, passed 6:40 a.m. Monday, September 4, 2023 in National Church Residences, Chillicothe.

She was born July 8, 1926, in Hamden, Ohio, to the late Joseph D. and Catherine E. Spellacy O'Neill.  On June 19, 1948, she married Ralph E. Foster, Jr. who passed October 14, 1994.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Steve Thomas, of Chillicothe; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia J. Strausbaugh; a great grandson; and sisters, Joan Martin, Mary Tocco, Georgene O'Neill and Charlotte Adams.

Kathleen was a member St. Peter Church.  She retired, following 21 years of service, from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company where she had worked as a Bookkeeper.  Kathleen was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to all the staff at N.C.R. and N.C.R. Hospice for the wonderful care Kathleen received.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 2 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 in St. Peter Church with Fr. Frank Brown, Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
