Keith A. “Tadpole” Ault, 75, of Chillicothe, passed at 7:44 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the Adean Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born November 1, 1950, in Ross County, to the late Willard and Sara Young Ault. On April 29, 1982, he married the former Alice Stewart who survives.

Surviving are sister, Gwen Wilson, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews, including a nephew, Jeff Ault, of Kingston; and his Scottish Terrier, Stewy. He was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Bill, John and Pastor Larry Ault; and sister, Karen S. Harper.

Keith retired from Ross Correctional Institute and was owner and operator of Tadpole’s Water Hauling. Keith owned and showed mules in many states in the eastern half of the U.S.

Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
