Larry Borland passed away on august 7th, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with COPD.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years Patricia Borland; his beloved grandchildren, Brittany West (Tyler West) and Larry Borland (Jacki Borland); and his three cherished great-grandchildren, Harper West, Grayson Borland, and Lane Borland. He is preceded in death by his only son Bret Borland, who was his best friend until the end.

Larry proudly retired as Chief of the VA Fire Department after a dedicated career of service. He will be remembered for his spunky spirit, and quick wit. More than anything, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and were the pride of his life.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
