Laura L. "Lori" Hopper, 58, of Chillicothe, passed 5:57 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born August 11, 1964, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Arthur Lee and Patricia Ann Ater Bobo.  On February 14, 1990, she married Charles R. Hopper, Jr. who survives.

In addition to her husband, surviving are a sister, Carla (Kevin) Hart, of Stoutsville; brothers, Greg Bobo, of Chillicothe, Kenny McCray, of Chillicothe and Dwayne Bobo, of Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews, including, Mandy Holbrook, Aaron Kempton, Jeremy Gozy, Kendra Kempton, Travis Hart; and step mother, Sharon Bobo, of Bainbridge.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Marsha Kempton.

Lori was a 1982 graduate of Chillicothe High School.  She had worked at Sears, P.U.R.R…FECT Companions Cat Rescue and at the CVS Pharmacy on Western Avenue as a Pharmacy Tech.  Lori loved animals, the outdoors, and traveling with her husband.

A private graveside service, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating, will be held in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
