Leah Scharenberg, 97, of Chillicothe, passed away 10:43 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023 at CareCore at Westmoreland.

She was born May 31, 1926 in Ross County to the late William H. and Catherine Scharenberg.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Bessie Shoemaker, Sarah Riehle and Freda Carroll; brothers, Phillip, Edwin and William L., Sr. Scharenberg.

Leah was a member of Jefferson Avenue CCCU.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 11:30 – 1:30 prior to the service on Friday.
