Leo Kenneth Madden, 86, of Chillicothe entered in to the loving arms of our savior and all that passed before him at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

He was born October 21, 1936 in Louisville, Ky to Leo and Lucinda (Taulbe) Madden. He was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth "Mae" Brown. On October 14, 1989 he married the former Addie Annon who passed January 10, 2019.

Surviving are children; Annette (Russell, Jr.) Elliott, of Waverly, Jeffery (Laurie) Madden, Theresa (David) Strawser, James (Tina) Annon, II, Diane (Steve) Betts, and Connie (Bryan) Strawser, all of Chillicothe; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; sisters, Pat Blithe, of Bucyrus, Bonnie (Marty) Draper, of Zephyr, FL; a brother, Roger Madden, of Greenup, KY, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mom, Leo and Lydia Madden; mother Lucinda Fraley; a son, Randy Lee Madden; sisters, Karen Justice, Martha Kay Bloomfield; brothers, Bill Fraley, Jerry Fraley; a special uncle, Robert "Bob" Madden, and a special aunt, Mabel Taulbe.

Leo was a construction worker most of his life at Major Builders Service in Columbus and was a maintenance worker at the Recording Workshop in Massieville. He enjoyed his family most of all. He also loved gardening and tinkering in his garage.

A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Evans, II officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the service hour on Friday.
