Linda D. Carter, 72, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:23 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born September 9, 1951, in Lancaster, PA, to the late Ephraim and Violet Herr Druck.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise Long, of Chillicothe; a son, William Carter, of Georgia; grandchildren, Anthony Long, Jr., Gauge Long, Jazliyn Carter, Damari Carter, Courtney Kendall, Brent Carter, Kayla Carter and Justin Carter; 4 great grandchildren, Kenlee, Havenn, LillyAnne and Thorin; a brother; a sister; and many nieces, nephews.

Linda was an amazing mother and supporter.  She had a generous caring heart.  Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be no funeral services or calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
