Linda Sue Costoff, 70, of Chillicothe, passed 3:49 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born April 28, 1953, in Phoenix, AZ, to the late Nicholas and Clara Freeman Costoff.  In 1991, she married Debbie Smith who passed December 12, 2021.

Sue is survived by her loving dogs, Toby Jo and Bandit Boof; nieces and a nephew, whom she considered her children, Richie (Julie) Costoff, Teresa (Benji) Cournow, Wendy (Amanda) Costoff and Teresa (Tim) Holman; many great nieces and great nephews; granddaughters, Whitney (Seth) Rodgers and Abby Jo Wagner; a sister-in-law, Alice Wallace; and a brother-in-law, Danny "Boom" Smith.  In addition to her parents and loving wife, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Bailey Wagner and brothers, Richard, Sonny Lee and Stevie.

Sue was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School.  She had worked at several local restaurants and the Ross County Sheriff's office. Sue loved swimming, vacations, dancing, Elvis Presley and her Bud Light.  She was a friend of many.  Sue lit up any room with her warm smile.  She left a lasting impression on everyone who met her.

Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
