Linda L. Hardesty

Linda L. Hardesty, 77, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born August 12, 1948, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Darrell and Mary Martindale Graham. On September 12, 1964, she married Carol Hardesty who survives. Together, they celebrated over 60 years of marriage.

Also surviving are a son, Jeffrey (Tricia) Hardesty, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Kimberly (David) Downard, of Chillicothe; grandchildren include Cruz (Krystan) Lurty, Santana (Nathan) Cook, Jeffrey L. (Ashley) Hardesty II, McKenzie (Eric) Wade, Chloe (Dakota) Cooper; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael (Lilla) Graham, of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Graham.

Linda retired from the City of Chillicothe.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in Grandview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
