Lowell E. French, 77, of Londonderry, passed 12:45 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2023 in the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born November 17, 1945, in Richmond Dale, Ohio, to the late Howard E. and Ethel Massie French.  On November 9, 1963, he married the former Marla Buskirk who passed May 20, 2016.

Surviving are daughters, Angie (Casey) Skinner, of New Port Richey, FL and Tracy French, of Columbus; a son, John French, of Richmond Dale; grandchildren, Steven (Elishia) Quillen, Bryttany (Justin Wiley) Quillen, Joshua (Annie) French, Sara (Jimmy) Knox, all of Chillicothe and Mathew Quillen, of New Port Richey, FL; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog, Roscoe.  He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Ellsworth Wright; brothers, H. Neal French, Don French and Gordon French.

Lowell was a 1964 graduate of Southeastern High School and retired from Chilpaco.  He was a member of U.P.I.U. Local 988.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
