Marilyn Ruth Scott, 93 of Chillicothe, OH and formally of Sarasota, Florida went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Marilyn is survived by her son Mark (Paula) Scott of Chillicothe, seven Grandchildren, Tara (Chad) Jordan, Tisha Scott, Curt (Mandy)Scott, Carly Scott and Carrie Ricer.  eleven Great Grandchildren, Josh (Sara) Scott, Abbi Grooms, Broc, Scotlyn, and Huc Jordan, Caroline, Connor, and Corbin Scott, and Ava Ricer.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a son/daughter-in-law Randy (Tauna) Scott and Great Grandson Hayden Jordan.

Marilyn gave her heart to the Lord as a teenager and worked with the Youth for Christ organization in Sarasota for many years.  She also taught Bible School and Sunday school classes at Berean Baptist Church in Sciotoville. When you met Marilyn you knew that she was certainly a child of God. Marilyn was a wonderful mother/grandmother and a very caring and kind soul. We will never know the many lives that Marilyn has touched and helped through her Christian testimony and kindness.   She would always be witnessing for Christ to all that she met.  She loved her family with all her heart but most of all Jesus always came first and she wanted all to know him.

She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends but we know that she is now rejoicing with Jesus and her loved ones who were waiting on her.
