Marlene Collins, 77, of Londonderry, passed 10:17 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born April 7, 1946 in Chillicothe to the late Franklin and Mary (Mavis) Higley.  On April 13, 1995 she married Darrell E. Collins, Sr., who preceded her in death April 26, 2014.

Surviving are her beloved fishing buddy, Winchester; children, Chad Miller, of Marietta, Clay Miller, of Columbus and Jackie Miller, of Millville; grandchildren, Clay, Gabrielle, Jared and Isabella Miller, Cale Miller and Teagan Townsend; sister, Carolyn Poole, of Londonderry; brothers, Paul (Bobbie) Higley, of Londonderry and Frank (Bev) Higley, of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews; and her school bus family who called her mom.

Marlene retired from Southeastern Schools where she was a cook and bus driver.  She was a member of First Wesleyan Church.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Minister Craig Reichert officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
