Mary Elliott, 99, of Chillicothe passed 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at CareCore at Westmoreland.

She was born November 25, 1926 in Londonderry to the late Frank and Elizabeth Ratcliff Meeker.  She was married to Elmer Elliott who preceded her February 26, 2002.

Surviving are children, Robert E. "Gene" (Mary) Kempton, of Lynchburg, James A. (Karen) Kempton, of Brandt Island, WA and Sondra K. Miller, of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren and many many great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by daughter, Marian Jo Lantrip, a grandson, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mary was a homemaker for her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
