Mary J. "Jodie" Augustine, 63, of Chillicothe passed unexpectedly 10:15 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026.

She was born November 22, 1962 in Chillicothe to the late Donald E. and Mary C. Morris.  On June 3, 1989, she married William "Bill" G. Augustine who preceded her in death on October 4, 1993.

Surviving are children, Colleen (David) Mollema, of Japan, Zachary (Denise) Augustine, of Indiana and Allison "Allie" Augustine, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Evan and Aidan Mollema, Evelyn and William Augustine; brother, Mark E. (Robin) Morris; her beloved dog Zena and grand dog, Artie. Jodie had many special friends she cared about deeply.

Jodie was a member of Chillicothe #419 Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Honor Flight Columbus, Wreaths Across America, the CHS class of 1981, as well as many other organizations.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Brother Dennis Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday with a Eastern Star service at 5 p.m..
