Michael M. Freda, 74, of Chillicothe, passed 9:05 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born August 27, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Robert R. and Naoma Monroe Freda.  On January 21, 1972, he married the former Mary Murray who passed June 3, 2019.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Freda, of Chillicothe; a son, Marshal Freda, of Columbus; grandchildren, Justine Freda Moore, Laurel Freda and Callen Freda; siblings, Tamara Freda, of Columbus, Ohio, Richard R. Freda, of Old Hickory, TN, and Toni (Gale) Shop, of Loxahatchee, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael graduated from The Ohio State University Law School in 1972 and worked as an Attorney.  He was a member of and often ate lunch at the Ross County Senior Citizens Center.

Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022.  A graveside service, with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating, will follow at approximately 3:30 p.m. in St. Margaret Cemetery.
