Patricia J. "Patty" Hopper, 83, of Chillicothe, passed at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Adams Lane Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Zanesville, Ohio following an extended illness.

She was born January 10, 1941, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Carl and Lucille Brust Hollis.  On October 28, 2000, she married Richard C. Hopper who survives.

Also surviving are children, Anthony Vulgamore, of Wyoming, Carl Scott Vulgamore, of London, OH, Brian (Cathy) Vulgamore, of Roseville, OH and Charley (Carla) Vulgamore, of Upper Arlington; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Hollis, of Amanda, OH; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lou Eberle and brothers, Thomas, Charles, Robert, and Timothy Hollis.

Patty was a member of Hilltop Mission Church.  She was a former employee of Goodwill Industries.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2024 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jon Black officiating. There will be no visitation.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
