Paul Picklesimer, 92, of Chillicothe, passed 3:30 pm January 7, 2024 at National Church Residence following an extended illness.

He was born July 29, 1931, in Mingo, Ohio, to the late John H. and Gracie May Trimble Picklesimer.  On December 26, 1978, he married the former Doris Kay Kight who survives.

Also surviving are children, Heather (Stefan) Wood, of Londonderry, John David (Jani) Picklesimer, of North Carolina and Christi Russell, of Jackson; grandchildren, Channing, Carson, Jaime, Brady, Paul Michael, Jason, Justin and Nikki; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Alverta M. Horsley Picklesimer; a daughter, Vicki Hardesty and several brothers and sisters.

Paul attended Mt. Carmel Community Church and had worked for O.D.N.R.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Michael Rhoads officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
