Phillip D. "Big Phil" Gordon, 52, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Ohio Health Doctors Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness.

He was born August 3, 1971, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Talana Gordon and Phillip Hammond.  On August 5, 2000, he married his longtime companion, the former Angela Keeton who survives.

Also surviving are children, Whitney Gordon, of Columbus, Luke (Bryanna Nutt) Gordon, Haven (Shyann Spradlin) Gordon, and Hank Gordon, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ava, Luciano, Onyx, Cassius and Indica Gordon; a sister, Denise (James) Gordon, of Florida; a brother, Jon Pierre Gordon, of Middletown, OH; and several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Tracy Shields, of Middletown, OH.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandmother who raised him, Mary Lou Banks; grandfather, Luther Arnold; and a brother, Sonny Gordon.

Big Phil was known everywhere he went.  Above all, he loved to spend time with his family.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial of his cremains will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, Ohio.
