Ramona Stanley, 90, of Chillicothe passed 3:08 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born May 16, 1934 in Chillicothe to the late Ova and Nona (Hurles) Sword.  On January 19, 1951 she married Charles E. Stanley, Sr. who preceded her on October 26, 2007.

Surviving are children, Charles E. (Sherry) Stanley, Jr. and Pamela Stanley, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Heather (Keith, Jr.) Evans, Holly Rider and Stephanie (Corey) Clemmons; great grandsons, Andrew and Matthew Evans.  She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Frankie Sword.

Ramona was a homemaker for her family.  She was a lifetime member of Chillicothe First Assembly of God.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Shaun Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
