Retta S. Stidham, 84, of Chillicothe, passed at 2:03 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

She was born December 19, 1939, in Pickaway County, to the late Lee and Nancy Bentley Troutman.  On April 17, 1973, she married Ray Stidham who passed on September 23, 2012.

Surviving are a son, Scott (Tobie) Stidham, of Frankfort; stepson, Dennis Stidham, of Georgia; grandchildren, Brittany Stidham, Emma Stidham and Brandon Stidham; great grandchildren, Olivia, Harper and Oliver Stidham; a brother, Larry Troutman, of Chillicothe; sisters, Terry Rafferty, of Murfreesboro, TN, Bonnie Stevens, of Zanesville, Ethel Waltrip, of New Jersey and Nida (Bob) Bogusky, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters.

A private graveside service will be held in Caldwell Cemetery.  There will be no public viewing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
