Rex M. Knisley, 67, of Frankfort, died Friday, August 6, 2021 in Chillicothe unexpectedly.

He was born March 20, 1954, in Greenfield, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Anna Blanche Sharon Knisley.

Surviving are daughters, Amy L. (James Davis) Knisley, of Frankfort and Nicole (Jason) Crabtree, of Washington C.H.; grandchildren, Austin Knisley, Mallory (Cody) Watson, Marah Knisley, Jonathon Locey, Cortney Crabtree, Marissa Bain, Adam Crabtree, R.G. Crabtree, Luke Crabtree, Devin Perkins, Jada Gruber, Roger Gruber, Jr., Zander Gruber and Serenity Gruber; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Rita (Jimmy) Putney, of New Martinsburg; a brother, Gary Knisley, of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald Knisley, Donald Knisley and Roger Knisley and a sister, Janet Watson.

Rex served in the US Navy and retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
