Richard Berry, 81, of Chillicothe, passed at 9:53 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born December 23, 1941, in Chillicothe, to the late Frank and Chloe Bunn Berry.  On November 29, 1960, he married the former Phyllis Donahue who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Teresa (Gerald) Meacham; grandchildren, Candice (Alan) Seward, Kacey Graves, Richard (Brittany) Berry III, Kelsie (Ray) Mefford and Hunter (Lesley) Berry; several great grandchildren including a special great grandson, Bryceton Moore; sisters, Joan Hess and Connie Vest and numerous niece and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Richard Berry, Jr. and numerous brothers and sisters.

Richard worked for his family's construction business, The Berry Brothers' Co.

There will be no public services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
