Ricky James Hoylman, 66, of Chillicothe passed peacefully at home at 11:29 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 with his loving wife by his side.

He was born November 29, 1959 in Chillicothe to the late Ralph and Irene Pack Hoylman.  On January 21, 1978, he married the former Dawn Renee Butcher who survives.  Together they celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Also surviving are children, Amy (Christopher Beverly) Hoylman, Zachariah (Shawna Mantel) Hoylman, and Autumn Hoylman, all of Chillicothe; several grandchildren, including Gabriel (Kaitlynn) Hoylman and MaKenzie Leeth; a great grandson; sisters, Trudy (Steve) Barnhart, of Chillicothe and Shirley (Jim) Stotridge; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Ricky James Hoylman, Jr.; a brother, Earl Sheets; a sister, Ethel Worthen; and a niece, Tammy Sheets.

Ricky was a truck driver since he was 18 years old.

A private family funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Evans II officiating.  Burial will follow in the Charleston Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  A public viewing for family and friends will be held at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
