Rita M. Stafford, 77, of Piketon, passed at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born October 22, 1946, in Ross County, to the late Edward and Margaret Thompson Williams.

Surviving are a son, Jason Blanco, of Grove City; a daughter, Lori (Tim) Sevy, of Chillicothe; sisters, Eva (Rob) Miller, of Chillicothe and Sharan (Charlie) Kerns, of Springfield, OH; brothers, Pat Williams, of Allensville, OH, Jim (Kathy) Armstrong, of Bainbridge and Rich Armstrong, of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters, Christine Blanco and Terressa "Tessie" Blanco.

In keeping with her wishes, Rita will be cremated.  A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Shane Browning officiating.
