Robert Wayne Kellough, 83, of Chillicothe passed 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at his home.

He was born October 17, 1942 in Knockemstiff, Ohio to Bertha Williamson and Robert Leroy Kellough.  On July 7, 1962 he married Sharon Kay Tackett who survives.

Also surviving are son, Eric Wayne (Sandy) Kellough; daughter, Loretta Lynn Kellough (Larry Woods); grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) DePugh, Bradley (Shauna) Kellough and Jessica (Cody) Smith; great grandchildren, Brady and Emma DePugh, Lianna, Braelynn, Hazel and Waylon Kellough, Carter Smith, McKenzie, Madisyn and Max; sisters, Carolyn Miller, of Bourneville and Linda (Gary) Cockrell, of Chillicothe; brother, Keith Kellough, of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Leroy and Bertha Kellough; sisters, Marcella Shoemaker, Beatrice Phipps, Anna Davis, Phyllis Gragg; brothers, Leroy and Willard Kellough.

Bob retired in 2001 from Ross County as the Ross County Dog Warden/Humane Officer/Shelter Manager with 31 years of service.   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Bob was the type of person who never met a stranger and would go out of his way to get to know new people.

He was life member of the Eagles #600 and the Moose Lodge #1626.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff, nurses, and aides of National Church Residences.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Tony Lambert officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
