Rodney J. Worley, Sr., 57, of Chillicothe, passed 7:10 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following an extended illness.

He was born March 16, 1966, in Chillicothe, to the late Thomas J. and Leola Seymour Worley.  On January 26, 2017, he married the former June Holton who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are children, Brian (Brandi) Worley, of Chillicothe, Rodney J. (Tabitha) Worley, Jr., of Jackson, Devin (Michelle) Reed, of Lexington, KY, Christopher (Ruth) Hall, of Chillicothe, Tommy (Kenzie) Worley, of Chillicothe, Joshua Sanford, of Chillicothe, Janetta Sanford, of Chillicothe and Summer Sanford, of Chillicothe, Liberty Sanford, of Cincinnati; 2 special grandchildren, Rodney J. Worley, III and Tessa Rai Hall; other grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dylan, Brian, Zoey, Heaven, Adrian, Sophia, Aliciha and Savahnova; sisters, Debbie and Sharon (Steve); and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Stevie.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Sanford and his former wife, Evonne Worley.

Rodney worked at Wal Mart as a Manager and had also worked at Papa Dino's Pizza .

Family and friends may call at the WARE FUENRAL HOME from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023.  There will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
