Roger L. Williams, 67, of Chillicothe, died 7:14 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born October 10, 1953, in Ross County, to Harold and Norma Colburn Williams.  On November 6, 1976, he married the former Billie A. Hoover who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Norma Williams, of Chillicothe; children, Wendy (Andy) Jester, of Commercial Point, Jamie (Carrie) Hartsaugh, of Chillicothe and Roger Williams II, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Reese and Riley Hartsaugh, Logan Jester and Trace and Xander Williams; brothers, Leonard (Donna) Williams, of Johnstown and Brian (Beth) Williams, of Chillicothe; and a sister, Teresa (Greg) McCorkle, of Chillicothe.  He was predeceased by his father, Harold Williams and a son, Matt Hartsaugh, of Chillicothe.

Roger was owner of the former Muratura Masonry Construction Company.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
