Ronald O. Gardner, 86, of Chillicothe passed 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at National Church Residences Chillicothe.

He was born May 6, 1940 in Rarden, Ohio to the late Ora Lee and Florence (Smith) Gardner.

Surviving are friend, Lora Hughes, of Chillicothe; nephews, Danny Gardner, of Wayne, Ohio and Allen Gardner, of Michigan; nieces Pam and Kim. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Robert Gardner.

Ronald was a cook and housekeeper in the hospitality industry.

In following with Ronald’s wishes there will no public visitation or services. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
