Ronald E. Stephens, 72, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died 7:04 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his residence unexpectedly.

He was born August 20, 1951, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Earl E. and Dorothy A. (Garrison) Stephens.

Ron is survived by his companion, Brenda S. Fuller; children, Cara (Doug Nelson) Stephens, R. Christopher "Dewey" (Rae) Stephens, Craig Stephens, Cassidy Jay "CJ" (Stacey) Stephens; grandchildren, Branden (Renee) Stephens, Darby Stephens, Dylan (Stephanie) Darden, Breanna (Caleb) Lewis, Reignlynn Stephens, Sophia Taylor, Owen Stephens, Lyric Stephens, Damian Stephens, Corbin Trainer and Aubrey Stephens; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Floyd) Edler, of Chillicothe and Beverly (Donald) Schaal, of Circleville; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Debra Gatten and brothers, Kenneth and Daniel Stephens.

Ron graduated in 1970 from Zane Trace High School and retired from Buckeye Steel.  He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football and basketball teams.

A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
