Shirley A. Landman, 84, of Waverly, Ohio, died on Monday August 28th at Adena Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was born on Nov 21st, 1938 to the late Roy P. and Ruth Smith.  On April 1st, 1956 she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Landman.  They celebrated 67 wonderful years together.

She was blessed with 6 children: Kristy Landman (Rick Snodgrass), Billie (Craig) Kirk of Chillicothe, and Mary Ann (Mike) Shaw, Karen Landman (Keith Johnson), David (Arlene) Landman, and Phillip Landman (April Dotson) of Waverly.

She was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren who she adored.

She is survived by a sister, Lola Schumann of Chillicothe, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 2 grandsons, Joseph Landman and Joshua Landman, six brothers, Richard, Robert, Everett, Walter, Roy Jr, and John Smith, and two sisters, Evelyn Chaffin, and Marian Smith.

Shirley attended the Church of Christ and was an auxiliary member of VFW, American Legion and Amvets.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Breidenbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Friday.
