Steven Ray "Hippy Steve" Wilson, 66, of Chillicothe, passed at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

He was born August 27, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio.  On February 29, 1992, he married the former Charlotte Cardle who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are children, Tony (Jamie) Wilson, Brian (Shauna) Carr, Jr., Jodie Carr, Chelsea (Andy) Weaver and Stevie Wilson; several grandchildren including, Gavin Carr, Troy Brown, Mason Sanders, Alysia Wilson, Payton Carr, Andrew Wilson, Annabella Weaver, Jaliyah Smith, PJ Smith, Jalayah Smith, Darail Smith, Ashai Smith, Caden Wilson, Sydney Wilson; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Penny Birchler and Christine Shelley; stepfather, Gary Layne; several nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Bryson and Quin; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nikki and Brian Bainbridge.  He was predeceased by his mother, Zelma Layne; grandson, Kyndric Carr; and a brother, Dennis Wilson

Steven had attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.  He worked for James Taylor Trucking as a Truck Driver.

A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
