Teresa Dale Hughes, 71, of Chillicothe, passed at 10:02 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's East Hospital, Columbus unexpectedly.

She was born December 7, 1952, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Charles Jr. and Cloia Risner Blevins.  On September 20, 1969, she married Robert Dale Hughes who passed May 11, 1982.

Surviving are a daughter, Skeeter Hughes, of Chillicothe; a son, Kenneth (Tomie) Hughes, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Laci (Robert) Watson, of Las Vegas, NV, Levi Kearney, of Chillicothe, Remington Hughes, of Hillsboro, Riley Hughes, Gauge (Chance) Hughes, Hunter Bartram, Dakota Bartram, Keith Vince, Nya Hammond and Mya Hammond, all of Chillicothe; great grandchildren, Rowan Michael Watson, Tyson Hughes, Paisley Vince, Bentley Vince, Braxton Bartram, Silas Bartram and Jocelyn Vaught; sisters, Lavonne Atkins, Debra Blevins, Karen Crain, Carol Barnard and Linda Seth; brothers, Jared Robertson and Charlie Spriggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by twin infant sons, Robby and Bobby Hughes; a brother, Charles Edward Blevins.

Teresa attended the Chillicothe First Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeremy Schinkle officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
