Thomas Leroy Irvin, 63, of Waverly was born February 3, 1961, passed at 10:22 a.m. Sunday, June 9, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born February 3, 1961, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Larry G. and Connie L. Kellough Irvin, both whom survive of Chillicothe.  On May 25, 1991, he married his best friend and love of his life, the former Melissa Cline who survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, surviving are brothers, Jeff, Duane (Sallie), both of Chillicothe and Dennis (Tamar), of Wellston; his mother-in-law, Linda Cline, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Mark (Barbara) Cline, of Albany; a sister-in-law, Erin (Jeremy) James, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews who he loved and adored; and his faithful companions, his dogs, Coal and Hazel.  He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Norman E. Cline, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Michael Cline.

Tom graduated from Huntington High School and retired from Chillicothe Body Shop.  He was a devoted Christian and attended Grist Mill Chapel.  Tom was a great, caring man who saw the best in everyone.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and would appreciate everyone wearing some Cleveland Brown's attire to his funeral.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rich Cottrill, Pastor Bud Lytle and Pastor Mike White officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
