Timothy A. Pettit, 56, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:36 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus unexpectedly.

He was born February 22, 1969, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late William A. and Alice Buckner Pettit.  In October of 1988, he married the former Dora Leasure who survives.

In addition to his wife, surviving are sons, Timothy (Shawnda Steele) Pettit, Jr., of Zaleski and Steven Pettit, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Melinda (Brandon Gordon) Pettit, of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, McKenzie Dewhurst; brothers, Mike Pettit and William Pettit; sisters, Wanda Leasure and Brenda (Dennis) Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Andrew Pettit; brothers, Chuck, Kelvin and Bob Pettit; and a sister, Nancy Cradlebaugh.

Timothy was the owner of Complete Services.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in the Charleston Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
