Troy McDonald, 51, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:44 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 in S.O.M.C. Inpatient Hospice following a brief illness.

He was born November 19, 1972, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to William and Linda Kellough McDonald, both of Chillicothe.  On July 9, 1994, he married the former Tonya Scott who survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Kerstin (Terry) Heneck, Kelsey (Brittany Fulton) McDonald and Troy McDonald, Jr.; a grandson, Zage Heneck; and brothers, Jeff (Misty) McDonald, of Chillicothe and Tony (Tara) McDonald, of Rainsboro.

Troy worked at Wabtec and was a former coach for the Huntington Youth Baseball League.  Troy was a proud member of the T.W.P.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with his cousin, Pastor Bud Lytle, officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to his funeral service on Thursday.
