Vickie Diane Seitz, 72, of Chillicothe, died 2:43 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born June 7, 1951 in Ross County to the late Emerson and Anne (Daniel) Penwell. On June 5, 1970 she married Ronnie E. Seitz who survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Rhonda (Ken) Shelton, Chillicothe, Robin (Robert) Vogel, Londonderry; grandchildren, Rhyan Shelton, and Tyler Vogel; her loving companion, Scooter; sister, Marcia (John Willis) Eyre, Chillicothe; a brother, Marvin Penwell, Buckeye Lake, and several nieces and nephews.

Vickie attended Huntington High School and was a member of the Jefferson Ave CCCU for 23 years. She sang gospel music at several churches through the years.

The family would like to thank the Adena Hospice Team; Dr. John Seidensticker; special friends and neighbors, Karen and Gary Hoffman, Nancy and Andrew Corcoran, and Laura Thompson for their care and compassion for Vickie.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeremy Beverly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Her online register is available at www.warefh.com.
