Virgil Hurley, Jr., 24, of Waverly, passed following a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis, at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his dad's residence following an extended illness.

He was born September 25, 1999, in Ross County to Virgil Hurley, Sr. and Christina Nunley.

Surviving are his father, Virgil Hurley, Sr.; grandmother, Cynthia Nunley; brothers, Levi, Austin, Mathew and Marcus Hurley; a sisters, Mariah Bradley and Stephanie Hurley; many aunts and uncles, including a special aunt, Kathy Nichols who raised him; and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by his mother Christina DePugh.

Virgil was very artistic and especially loved to draw.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
