W. Vinton Simpson, 56, of Chillicothe passed 9:17 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 at his residence.

He was born December 22, 1969 in Chillicothe to Wallace V. and Jackie (Detty) Simpson.

Surviving are mother and stepfather, Jackie and Neal Rubitschung, Londonderry; father Wallace V. Simpson,  W.V; a son, Montana Rinehart and fiancé Jasmine Ivy, Ashland, KY; a granddaughter, Rhiley Rinehart; sisters, Oneta (Randy) Cartwright, Londonderry, Dawn Rubitschung, Lancaster, and Amanda Glatting, Chillicothe; nieces, Megan (Jacob) Pechacek, Londonderry, Marina Simpson, Chillicothe and Erica Cartwright, Dayton; nephews, John (Kylan) Simmons, Londonderry, R.J. Cartwright, Londonderry  Jordan Rubitschung, Lancaster and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-mother, Helen Simpson and niece Ashley Simmons.

Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in Londonderry Cemetery with Melvin Simpson officiating. Following the burial a Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Randy and Oneta Cartwright 181 Poes Run Rd., Londonderry, Ohio 45647. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
