It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Eugene Fry of Chillicothe, Ohio who departed this life on June 22, 2026 at 11:40 p.m. at the age of 92 living a healthy and wonderful life.

Born January 20, 1934, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Adrian Fry and Myrtle Cooker Fry, Wayne was a visionary craftsman and a true builder at heart.  He developed a passion for construction at a young age, turning a simple love for working with wood, stone and brick into a lifelong dedication to Fry Construction Company shaping the community.

Throughout his career, Wayne was known for his meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic and unyielding commitment to quality.  He did not just build structures; he built homes and beautiful subdivisions where families would create memories that will last a lifetime.  He was the proud founder of Fry Construction and the Kitchen and Bath Boutique and leaves behind a physical legacy of Waynewood Subdivision, Jefferson Woods Subdivision, Golf View Subdivision, Great Seal Subdivision and Royal Estates Subdivision just to name a few.  In his 34 years of building he developed and built over 1100 homes and building in the Chillicothe and Circleville markets.

Beyond the blueprints and jobsites, Wayne greatest pride and joy was his family.  He is survived by his children Bambi Fry Huffman and Robert Huffman and Robin Fry King and Jay King.  In addition, he cherished his 4 grandchildren, David and Shawnda Huffman, Bobby Wayne Huffman and Jenica Huffman, Samantha and Travis Clements and Zachary and Allison King.  Great grandchildren include; Ava Huffman, Rocco Huffman, Serena Huffman, Howie Wayne Huffman, Penelope Clements, Leo Clements, Logan King.  He will now be with his wife Patricia Ann Fry, Gregory Eugene Fry (son), Adrian Fry (father) and Myrtle Fry (mother) who precedes him in death.
