Wayne Harvey Rutter, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away 10:36 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Adena Pike Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born July 30, 1946, in Chillicothe to the late George V. and Malinda E. Butterbaugh Rutter.

Wayne is survived by a daughter, Mary Ellen Daniel, of Chillicothe; grandsons, Timothy (Tasha) Daniel and Wayne Eric Rutter II; great grandchildren, Mason, Bianca and Bella and several nieces, nephews and many friends.  He was predeceased by a son, Wayne Eric Rutter I; four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Charleston Church of the Brethern Cemetery (Dunkard Hill).   There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home, 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
